The Bhamla Foundation started with a clear mission: tree plantations. In our early days, we were eager to make a difference, often organizing sapling planting activities to help improve our environment.
As we learned more about environmental sustainability, especially regarding trees and soil, we understood the importance of planting the right trees. We focused on those that can reduce air pollution and improve the city’s air quality while also attracting biodiversity, like butterflies, insects, and squirrels.
Knowing that planting trees alone wasn’t enough, we began creating urban forests in the city. With limited green spaces, we adopted the Japanese Miyawaki technique to develop small, dense forests.

Miyawaki forests are a unique approach to urban greening, designed by Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki. This method focuses on planting native tree and plant species in a dense manner, allowing them to grow quickly and create a balanced ecosystem.

Many of our projects are located on school grounds, allowing young people to be involved in the entire process—from planting to caring for the trees. To make these activities even more special, we invite celebrities and politicians to join us. Their participation brings excitement and helps us to reach out to the youth of the world.
Through these efforts, The Bhamla Foundation aims not only to plant trees but also to build a sense of community, awareness, and responsibility for our planet. Join us in our mission to create greener, healthier urban spaces for future generations
