Certificate of Appreciation to Bhamla Foundation
The Bhamla Foundation has been working in environmental conservation in Maharashtra for nearly 20 years. During that time, we’ve dedicated our time to conserving and cleaning public spaces like beaches, spreading awareness about eco-friendly lifestyles, and waste management. We’ve worked on large scale projects such as converting over 1 ton waste to energy that powers all the street lamps in Pali, Mumbai. We’ve engaged with players from all walks of life ranging from politicians and celebrities – who are in positions of influence from both a policy perspective but also as agents of change by raising awareness – to the youth, who will eventually inherit our beautiful country. It was a great honor to be recognised for this work by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. Dr. Harsh Vardhan acknowledged our years of service with a Certificate of Appreciation on the occasion of World Environment Day, 2018, for our endeavor in taking the message of “Beat Plastic Pollution” and spreading the message of “Green Good Deeds” to the people across the country at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. We were thrilled to be a part of the Green Crusader Awards and are inspired to continue our work to save our planet.
